Arsenal January Transfer: Three strikers Gunners can target to win Premier League title

Arsenal have hit a minor blip at the end of the 2023 with two consecutive defeats. But with the January Transfer window now open, the Gunners can bring in solutions for their potential problems.

Arsenal are currently placed 4th in the table, with five points off the summit spot. They have been mostly decent in defense, but have failed to score goals upfront. With just 37 goals after 20 matches, Arsenal have the lowest goal tally among the top five teams this season.

Arsenal

Their front players have failed to showcase their prolific form as Bukayo Saka leads the way with just 6 goals in the league thus far. As the January window is open and players are up for grabs, Mikel Arteta will be keen to bring in some reinforcements up front.

There are many names which are popping up in Arsenal's wishlist, but the Gunners will have to spend wisely in January to get the most out of their deal. Here are three strikers who may end Arsenal's Premier League title drought after two decades.

Ivan Toney

Ivan Toney has been linked with a move to Arsenal. The Brentford striker ends his ban on January 16 and has been constantly linked with the Gunners since the summer.

The England International is a superb striker and can be a perfect fit in Arsenal's system. He is someone who is prolific in front of goal and can be the missing piece of the jigsaw. Although it will cost the gunners a fortune to sign Toney but a move, especially as the player is in the last 18 months of his contract at Brentford, can eventually be ticked if they pay the right price.

Serhou Guirassy

Serhou Guirassy is the driving factor behind Vfb Stuttgart's amazing campaign this season. The Guinea international has already scored 17 goals in Bundesliga in just 14 matches. He has continued his form from last season and can be a perfect buy for Arsenal.

Guirassy's £15 million release clause is also something which can be too enticing to miss out on the player. The 27-year-old also has a 35 per cent conversion rate, which will be a major boost for the North London club.

Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen's brilliance last season helped Napoli to win the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years. The Nigerian has scored 8 goals thus far this season, significantly dipping from last season's tally.

Arsenal

But Osimhen's pace and finishing prowess can be perfect for Arsenal. The 25-year-old has the ability to score goals and his profile is something which ticks all the boxes for Mikel Arteta. They will have to pay a massive money for Osimhen, which can be an issue, but signing the Napoli marksman can be a major boost to Arsenal's Premier League title hopes.
