Myles Lewis-Skelly is confident that Arsenal are well-prepared to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-finals, crediting their manager, Mikel Arteta, for their readiness. Arsenal will host PSG at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday for their first semi-final appearance since 2009, when they faced Manchester United. The team has been impressive in this year's competition, remaining unbeaten in their last eight matches.

In October, Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory against PSG with goals from Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz. This upcoming match marks the sixth European encounter between the two teams, with Arsenal having never lost to PSG in their previous five meetings (two wins and three draws). The Gunners' longest unbeaten streak in the Champions League was 12 games during the 2005-06 season when they reached the final.

Lewis-Skelly has had a breakthrough year with Arsenal, making 36 appearances across all competitions, including eight in the Champions League. Despite acknowledging the challenge posed by Luis Enrique's side, he is eager for another memorable night at the Emirates. "As a team, we are prepared, and we are ready," Lewis-Skelly told Sky Sports. "We are in good form currently, and we are excited to play PSG because they are in good form too."

The young player's confidence stems from Arteta's leadership. Under Arteta's guidance, Arsenal have won 29 of their 46 Champions League matches (eight draws and nine losses). Lewis-Skelly praised Arteta's meticulous approach: "His attention to detail is incredible. I love to learn, so learning from him and the way he handles and approaches the games is fascinating."

Lewis-Skelly has transitioned into a defensive role at Arsenal due to injuries within the squad. Originally trained as a midfielder through Arsenal’s academy, he now plays as a left-back. He finds this change enjoyable: "It's been a smooth process because I love to learn and improve," he said. "I love to ask questions. If I don't know the answer yet, I'll make sure to ask."
