Bengaluru, December 12: North London giants Arsenal are putting together a contingency plan as they look to rebuild their attack and will reportedly make a move for PSG youngster Goncalo Guedes next summer to fill the void left by the possible exit of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Sanchez and Ozil are not the only players who could move from the Emirates in the summer. As many as six players are going out of contract in the summer and all of them could leave the club.

Meanwhile, there are players like Calum Chambers, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck who could all move from the Emirates. So, Arsenal will need an complete overhaul in summer and must start planning for a busy summer.

According to the English media, Arsenal are hoping to sign the 21-year-old forward by taking advantage of PSG’s need to balance their books.

The Ligue 1 giants are under pressure from UEFA to control their finances after committing to £366million in transfer fees last summer after signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Guedes, who was the first 18-year-old to represent Portugal since Cristiano Ronaldo, is serving a season-long loan at Valencia where he has been instrumental in the club’s challenge to Barcelona in La Liga.

Reports claim that Arsenal's new head of football relations Raul Sanllehi has already discussing terms with PSG for the 21-year-old prodigy.

Guedes' job will be a huge one as he is likely to join Arsenal as the replacement of someone like Alexis Sanchez who is among the best players in the Premier League.

Sanchez’s contract with Arsenal is up at the end of the season and the Chilean looks likely to depart and be released from the clutches of Arsene Wenger.

The wantaway forward had one foot out the door last summer and ready to move to the Etihad after a deal was agreed with Manchester City.

However the deal the deal fell through last minute as Arsenal failed to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco.
