Arsenal will be hosting a struggling AFC Bournemouth side in the Premier League on Saturday (March 4).
Arsenal, who are currently top of the league table, will be aiming to get all three points at home against Bournemouth, who find themselves 19th in the table. The Gunners are currently on a three-game winning streak in the league, while the Cherries have won only one out of their last six Premier League matches.
Here is the latest team news, injury update of the Arsenal match against Bournemouth-
Arsenal Team News vs Bournemouth: Arsenal will be without the services of Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny. Mikel Arteta confirmed Jesus is close to returning but it may take a couple of more weeks for his return, while Elneny is also out with a knee problem. Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is also doubtful for the match after picking up a knock in the midweek clash against Everton.
Arteta will have his first team intact for the match as the combination of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli are set to start again. Martinelli has scored in each of the last three matches and both Saka and Martinelli have scored 10+ goals in the league so far. The only selection dilemma for Arteta will be Thomas Partey, who is fit again and may replace Jorginho in the starting lineup.
Bournemouth Team News vs Arsenal: Bournemouth have a long list of injured players. Marcus Tavernier is doubtful with a knock, while Matias Vina (Knee), Junior Stanislas (Muscle), David Brooks (Hamstring) all will be missing from the Arsenal tie.
The Cherries boss Gary O'Neil will be spearheading Dominic Solanke up top, and may go with a three-man backline to repel the Gunners' attacking threat.
