Caitlin Foord Signs New Two-Year Arsenal Contract, Extending Stay
Arsenal have confirmed that Caitlin Foord has agreed a new contract, keeping the forward at the club after the previous deal was due to run out at the end of this month. The fresh agreement is reported to last two years.
The renewal comes as Arsenal prepare for changes in their squad, with Katie McCabe and Beth Mead set to depart when their contracts expire later this month. Despite those exits, Foord has chosen to extend her stay in north London.

Foord, who is 31, first joined Arsenal in 2020 and has since become a regular part of the squad. Across all competitions, Foord has played 203 matches for the club and has scored 57 goals during that period.
Her league record with Arsenal in the Women’s Super League shows steady attacking output across several seasons. Foord has 32 goals and 20 assists from 118 WSL games. However, during the 2025-26 campaign, Foord contributed two goals, with Arsenal finishing second in the table.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|---|
| All competitions | 203 | 57 | - |
| Women’s Super League | 118 | 32 | 20 |
Since joining Arsenal, Foord has collected four trophies with the club. The honours include the Champions League, two League Cups and the first FIFA Champions Cup, which Arsenal secured earlier this year to add another international title to their record.
That FIFA Champions Cup triumph featured a key contribution from Foord. The forward scored the decisive goal in a 3-2 extra-time win against Corinthians, sealing the trophy in a close contest and underlining Foord’s ability to influence major matches.
Arsenal highlighted the new deal on social media, sharing a message to supporters.
By securing Caitlin Foord to a new two-year contract while McCabe and Mead prepare to leave, Arsenal maintain stability in attack and retain an experienced player who has delivered goals, assists and trophies since arriving in 2020.
