Atalanta Draws 1-1 With Torino After Mateo Retegui's Penalty Is Saved

Atalanta and Torino ended their match in a 1-1 draw at Gewiss Stadium. Mateo Retegui missed a penalty, which could have helped Atalanta close the gap on Serie A leaders Napoli. The forward's attempt was saved by Torino's goalkeeper, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. This result leaves Atalanta in third place, potentially nine points behind Napoli if they win against Roma.

Atalanta initially took the lead when Berat Djimsiti scored with a header from Raoul Bellanova's corner. This goal marked Djimsiti's first Serie A goal since May 2022, ending a 1,000-day wait.
