Atalanta have secured Italy forward Mateo Retegui on a four-year contract from Serie A rivals Genoa, as announced by the Europa League champions on Thursday. Although the deal's specifics were not revealed, reports estimate it to be around 28 million.

During his single season with Genoa, Retegui made 31 appearances across all competitions. He scored nine goals and provided three assists.
