ATK manager Jose Molina worried over Helder Postiga’s injury and Iain Hume’s displeasure

Kolkata, Oct 15: Jose Molina, the manager of Atletico De Kolkata (ATK) seems to be a worried man now, 48 hours before their crucial home match against FC Goa in the Indian Super League (ISL).

The Spanish coach is anxious because of the knee injury which the marquee player had suffered a couple of weeks back. [Full schedule of ISL 2016] [Full list of squads for ISL 2016]

Another trouble for the manager is the poor form of star striker Iain Hume. The Canadian striker, who was the top scorer of ATK in the last season scoring 11 goals, has managed to score only one goal in the team's first three matches.

Molina, when asked about Postiga's injury, said: “I will only be able to understand on Sunday morning whether Postiga would be available for the match.

"I can only say that the team's medical team is trying its best to make Postiga fit for the crucial match."

Ian Hume, on the other hand, is reportedly unhappy with coach's strategy of playing him behind the striker. Hume refused to speak to media after Friday's training session, but it has been learned from the team's other footballers that Hume has already requested the coach to play him as the team's central striker.

And Hume has also reportedly expressed dissatisfaction by saying to his close associates in the team that due to coach's wrong strategy he is not being able to score.

FC Goa's legendary coach Zico, who arrived in Kolkata on Friday evening, is not also happy with the team's performance as FC Goa suffered three consecutive defeats and are struggling at the bottom in the League table.

Zico said, “This match will be our turning point. We must have to earn points from this match."
