Kolkata, Oct 6: Atletico de Kolkata earned a victory in a crucial away match on Wednesday (October 5) in Kochi.

Surely, they deserved the credit for being able to snatch a one-goal victory amidst the 60 thousand frantic crowd shouting for their team Kerala Blasters with more enthusiasm after having watched the team's two superstar brand ambassador, sitting in the VIP box, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Telugu actor Chiranjeevi.

Still, the Atletico De Kolkata footballers came out of the Jawaharlal Stadium with a worried face. They seemed not to have enjoyed the crucial three points in the ISL on Wednesday.

The reason was that in spite of the victory ATK, Helder Postiga's injury gave the ATK footballers as well as coach Molina a big blow, just after a few days the third ISL has started.

The key striker of Kolkata franchise team had to be substituted in the 18th minute, reminding the similar picture of last season's ISL where the Portuguese striker was forced to leave the field following injury and the coach Antonio Habas looked standing on the line with a bewildered face.

Postiga had to return to his country and he simply failed to turn up for his side in the League.

On Wednesday, when asked about the injury, ATK coach Molina told over phone from Kochi, “Apparently the injury does not look serious.

"But Postiga was limping in a manner while leaving the field I became a little bit of anxious. After returning to Kolkata he will have undergo thorough medical check-up and then only will be able to understand the situation."

Postiga could not be contacted. But his teammates like Borja Fernandez said, “We do not have more strikers effective as he is inside the box. So, if he loses a couple of forthcoming matches then it will be a shock for us."
