Bagan rope in NIIT for Sahara Premier League

Kolkata, Jul 18 (UNI) City giants McDowell Mohun Bagan today signed an agreement with the NIIT, an IT-based academic institution, for the ongoing Sahara Premier League.

The NIIT would fork out Rs 18 lakh for the use of its logo along with their main sponsor UB Group's McDowell for the period of premier league, scheduled to end August next.

NIIT's signitory Surajit Biswas said the company had decided to make all the premier league players computer-savvy.

He said all the players will be imparted 12-hour cost free training for being IT-educated.
