The 2024 Bandodkar Trophy, also known as the 2024 Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy, marks its 23rd edition and the second since its revival.

It is a football tournament organized by the Goa Football Association, and some of the top teams have participated in the 2024 edition.

The tournament has started from August 24 and will continue till September 6. All the matches of the tournament will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.

FC Goa and Brisbane Roar confirmed their berth for the semifinal on August 30.

On Saturday (August 31), Odisha FC secured their semifinal spot with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Churchill Brothers. In the second match, the youth team of Defensa y Justicia beat Chennaiyin 2-0 and confirmed their berth in the semis.

Bandodkar Trophy 2024 Teams

This year's tournament will see participation from eight clubs. These include teams from the Indian Super League, the I-League, and the Goa Pro League. Additionally, international teams from the A-League Men and the Argentine Primera Division will also compete. The 8 teams are divided into two groups-

Group A: FC Goa, Sporting Clube de Goa, Brisbane Roar, Dempo SC

Group B: Churchill Brothers, Odisha FC, Chennaiyin FC, Defensa y Justicia
