Two of the biggest clubs in the world Barcelona and Manchester United face off in the first leg which is by far the most mouth-watering clash of the Europa League knockout round playoff game this season.

Both sides meet for the clash due to Barcelona's third-place finish in their Champions League group behind Bayern Munich and Inter Milan and United's second-place finish in their Europa League group behind Real Sociedad.

The La Liga side have won a stunning 15 of their last 16 fixtures in all competitions ahead of their clash with the Red Devils in the first-leg of the teams’ Europa League knockout play-off double-header. They sit at top of the La Liga table and look the most confident. Erik Ten Hag's side also are in fine form having won nine times out of 12 in the new year. However, United's record against Spanish teams is gloomy. They have been eliminated by a side from La Liga in each of their last five continental campaigns so it will be interesting to see how the English giants respond this time around.
