Luis Diaz's dramatic goal in the 93rd minute secured a 3-1 victory for Bayern Munich over St. Pauli, extending their lead to eight points at the top of the Bundesliga. Raphael Guerreiro had earlier equalised Andreas Hountondji's opener before Diaz and Nicolas Jackson scored in stoppage time at Allianz Arena.

St. Pauli stunned the home crowd early when Andreas Hountondji scored after just six minutes. He was set up by Pereira Lage and managed to beat Manuel Neuer at the near post. Bayern responded with urgency, with Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof both hitting the woodwork as they sought an equaliser.

Just before half-time, Raphael Guerreiro levelled the score for Bayern. Luis Diaz provided an inventive pass to Guerreiro, who finished from close range. Despite Vincent Kompany's side creating chances, Bischof missed a volley opportunity, and Harry Kane saw his shot blocked after an hour of play.

Bayern dominated possession and continued pressing forward. Harry Kane hit the post with ten minutes remaining, but it was Joshua Kimmich's cross that allowed Diaz to head past Nikola Vasili. Shortly after, Nicolas Jackson sealed the win with a goal from a swift counter-attack.

Despite hitting the woodwork thrice, Bayern maintained their dominance over St. Pauli, winning 10 of their last 11 encounters.

This match marked Manuel Neuer's significant milestone as he made his 534th Bundesliga appearance, tying Eike Immel for second place among goalkeepers with most appearances in the league's history. Only Oliver Kahn has played more matches with a total of 557 appearances.

Bayern Munich have now matched their own record of scoring multiple goals in 20 consecutive Bundesliga games, a feat they first achieved during Pep Guardiola's tenure in the 2013-14 season.
