Bayern Munich Secures 5-0 Victory Over Stuttgart With Harry Kane's Hat-Trick Performance

In a dominant display, Bayern Munich defeated Stuttgart 5-0, with Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick. The win solidifies Bayern's position at the top of the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to nine points with a commanding 5-0 victory over Stuttgart. Harry Kane was instrumental, coming off the bench to score a hat-trick. The match saw Bayern dominate from the start, with Konrad Laimer opening the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to a clever backheel set up by Michael Olise.

Stuttgart thought they had levelled before halftime when Nikolas Nartey found the net from a Bilal El Khannouss free-kick. However, VAR ruled it out for offside. In stoppage time, Nicolas Jackson's attempt was saved, and Chema Andres missed shortly after as Stuttgart tried to apply pressure.

Kane's Hat-Trick Powers Bayern to Victory

After the break, Diaz missed a clear chance following an Olise pass. Bayern then doubled their lead through Kane's powerful shot from outside the box. Josip Stanisic added another goal in the 78th minute with a long-range effort.

A penalty was awarded to Bayern when Lorenz Assignon handled Olise's shot on the line, resulting in a red card. Kane converted from the spot for his second goal. He completed his hat-trick in the 88th minute after Olise beat Jamie Leweling and set him up perfectly.

Bayern's impressive away form against Stuttgart continues, having won 16 of their last 17 encounters there across all competitions. Their only loss came in May 2024 with a 3-1 defeat. Under Vincent Kompany, Bayern have scored two or more goals in their last 21 league games, surpassing their own record from Pep Guardiola’s era.

Michael Olise was pivotal throughout the match, providing two assists that moved him to the top of the Bundesliga assist chart this season with eight assists. His performance highlights his growing influence in Bayern’s attacking play.
