In the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Bayern Munich will participate for the third time in this prestigious tournament. With the new extended format of 32 teams, the tournament is set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.
The German side will enter the 2025 Club World Cup as the best-ranked eligible team in the UEFA four-year ranking. They will be joined by another eleven clubs from Europe. Other than Bayern, Borussia Dortmund is the only Bundesliga club who will join the tournament.

Bayern Munich are drawn into Group C alongside Auckland City, Boca Juniors and Benfica.

Bayern Munich had won the FIFA Club World Cup twice. In 2013, they defeated Raja Casablanca 2–0 in Morocco, with goals from Dante and Thiago. In 2020 they defeated UANL Tigres 1-0 in the Final. It will be the third appearance for the German club in this tournament.

Harry Kane, with 37 goals last season, is the team’s cornerstone. Jamal Musiala is also in good form, with 18 goals in 2024-25. Michael Olise, a recent signing, adds dynamism, while Jonathan Tah strengthens the defence. Thomas Muller, retiring after the tournament, aims for a final trophy.
