It's a clash of former European champions as Premier League giant Liverpool lock horns with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich for the Singapore Trophy, presented by Audi and Standard Chartered Bank, on Wednesday (August 2) at the National Stadium in Singapore.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are fresh from their Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy triumph after a 4-0 thrashing of fellow Premier League side Leicester City, while Thomas Tuchel's Bayern Munich head into the match on the back of a 1-0 victory over J League side Kawasaki.

This will be both Liverpool and FC Bayern's fourth pre-season match of this summer. The German giants have won two and lost one, while the English giant Liverpool has won two and drawn one.
Before the win over Leicester, the Reds were involved in an eight-goal thrilling draw against second tier Bundesliga side, Greuther Furth. In the first pre-season match, Klopp's side had beaten another second tier German side Karlsruher SC 4-2.
Bayern Munich, on the other hand, opened their pre-season campaign with a 27-0 smashing of FC Rottach-Egern followed by a 1-2 defeat to reigning European and Premier League champions Manchester City.
