It is a victory for Manchester City. James McAtee and Aymeric Laporte scored the goals for City on either side of Mathys Tel's equalizer for Bayern. City's excellent run against Bayern continues as they are now unbeaten in last four matches. Fantastic result for City while Bayern will also be taking a lot of positives from the result.
This is how Aymeric Laporte restored Man City's lead.

Goaaaaaal!! Man City back in front. Aymeric Laporte scores the goal. A shot rebounds off Ulreich to Laporte, who manages to get his foot to it instinctively to give his team the lead. City restore their lead within four minutes after Bayern's equalizer.
Aymeric Laporte connected his header very sweetly and it was on target, but Bayern keeper Sven Ulreich saves and then holds on to the ball to keep parity.
Goaaaaaal!! Mathys Tel scores against the balance of play to bring Bayern the parity. A decent grounder from the left hand side was initially saved by Ederson, bt Mathys Tel follows it up to score for Bayern.
65,049 is the official attendance for the match. Brings a cheer from the crowd. Man City's first trip to Japan was back in 1977, 46 years on, they are back here as the European Champions.
Excellent play by Oscar Bobb on the right-hand side for Manchester City. But Bayern Munich defenders double up and the City attack fizzles out.
Bernardo Silva comes off and Maximo Perrone comes on. The Argentine teenager was signed from Velez Sarsfield in January and has already played for them in the Premier League.
The second half hydration break arrives. The scoreline is still 1-0 in favour of Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is instructing Rico Lewis and others in the break. Kevin de Bruyne captured sitting on the bench and chatting with Mateo Kovacic, Jack Grealish. Will Guardiola give him a few minutes?
Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva fouled in matter of seconds. Bayern are pushing for an equalizer as we approach the hour mark. City goal haven't been threatened in the second half at all.
Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Julian Alvarez, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Rico Lewis, James McAtee are off for Manchester City. Oscar Bobb, Kalvin Phillips, Aymeric Laporte, Erling Haalanad, Phil Foden, Sergio Gomez, Rodri and Joao Cancelo are ON!
The two teams have made some changes in the 2nd half. Benjamin Pavard, Alphonso Davies, Leroy Sane have gone off for Bayern Munich. Manchester City have also brought on Erling Haaland.

Bayern Munich will have a different threat to deal with in the second half. Erling Haaland has come on as the 2nd half starts at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
If you haven't checked it yet, have a look at James McAtee's goal.

We may see Erling Haaland in the second half of the match. The Norwegian striker broke all goal-scoring records last year and has netted 2 goals already in pre-season.
Manchester City have a slender lead as we go to the break. Both teams have created chances but James McAtee's first-ever goal for senior team currently separates the two sides at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
A real mix up at the back for Bayern. Yan Sommer failed to clear the ball as he lost his bearings. Rico Lewis failed to make the most as Bayern survive a late scare.
Another save from Ederson. Bayern are giving their all to find an equaliser. Alphonso Davies this time forces a save out of Ederson as the Brazilian denies him with his outstretched leg to keep their lead.
Ederson saves a shot from Jamal Musiala. The Bayern midfielder manoeuvres to create a chance for him but fires the shot straight at the Man City keeper.
Manchester City still have the slender lead as we are just 10 minutes away from the break. Bayern have looked threatening but are yet to come up with a worthy effort.
Nathan Ake is taken off and Manuel Akanji replaces him. He would know a thing or two about Bayern having played for Borussia Dortmund. Pep Guardiola not taking any chance with Ake, who played a pivotal part last season for them.
Man City trophies are on show at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
Good to see you! 😍

Manchester City's Nathan Ake is injured. He is lying at the ground as City's medics are checking on him. City lead 1-0 courtesy of a James McAtee goal after 27 minutes.
Goaaaaaaaal!! McAtee gives Manchester City the lead. A terrific move from Man City results a good goal. Julian Alvarez's shot was saved by Yan Sommer, but the follow up is slotted in by James McAtee.
Bayern were already 5-0 up in their previous pre-season match against German 9th-tier club FC Rottach Egern. And they came close to get the opening goal. Leroy Sane hits the bar from a free-kick. Ederson was rooted to his spot. Unlucky for Bayern!
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola will be facing his old team as he was at the helm of the German club for three seasons from 2013 to 2016. Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel will also know a thing or two about Man City, during his coaching days at Chelsea in the Premier League.
Man City Predicted XI: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Ake; Rodri, Stones, Phillips, Kovacic; Grealis, Haaland, Bernardo Silva
Bayern Munich Predicted XI: Ulreich; Mazraoui, Pavard, Upamecano, Davies; Kimmich, Laimer; Coman, Musiala, Sane; Gnabry
