Bayern Munich will have to grind deep at home and get a result to get something out of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie against Real Madrid, says former India striker Robin Singh.
Bayern are up against Real Madrid in the first leg of the UCL semifinal on Tuesday. They will be hosting the Spanish side and then travel to Madrid for the 2nd leg.

Ahead of the match, ex-India striker Robin Singh says the Bavarians can't afford to lose at home.
"I think Bayern Munich will have to at least get a draw or a win at the Allianz Arena and if they can do that, then the second leg is a game that they can play for and ask for," Robin Singh said during an interview facilitated by Sony Sports.
The former India striker also believes Los Blancos do have the versatility to attack and defend efficiently at the same time. As it's a two-legged affair, Carlo Ancelotti's team may not be going at full throttle in the first leg and would be happy with any positive result.
"If you look at the previous game against Manchester City, now you can say that Madrid has two playing styles. They can come out and attack you but at the same time, they will also be able to sit back, soak up the pressure and then again go and attack. So for me, I feel it's going to be a very close encounter and both teams will have to be very careful of how they attack. It is a two-legged playoff so you will probably have to be careful on how you attack the first leg but we've seen how difficult it is for teams to go to the Bernabeu at this very moment and then win games," Singh added.
Real Madrid are aiming for their 15th UCL title and they overcame Manchester City in the quarterfinals on penalties. On the other hand, Bayern edged past Arsenal 3-2 on aggerate to advance to the semifinal.
