Bengal beat Orissa, move into national women football finals

Rourkela, May 9 (UNI) West Bengal today defeated hosts Orissa 4-0 to enter the final of the 15th Women's Senior National Football Championship at the Ispat Stadium here.

Bengal dominated the proceedings right from the word go and was leading 2-0 in the first half with Rinku Ghosh and Sujata Kar each scoring one goal in the 15th and 30th minutes respectively.

Sujata netted two more goals at the 59th and 79th minutes during to take West Bengal a lead of 4-0 . She was adjudged the best player of the game.

West Bengal will now clash the winner of Manipur and Goa on May 12 . Manipur and Goa will meet tomorrow in the second semi finals here.
