86' BFC finally shows quality in attack and Shiva Sakhti inspires it as he coordinates well with Suresh on the left wing as the attacks results in a brilliant pass into the box by Veendorp for Suresh but FC Goa stacked enough bodies inside the box to allow the likes of Sunil Chhetri and Curtis Main no clear shot on target!
83' Victor Rodrigues expectedly delivers them both and was meant for Sandesh Jhingan at the near post. The combination worked to perfection against East Bengal last week but not tonight

75' Victor Rodriguez moves near the box after catching Bengaluru on the break! Plays a nice one-two with Raynier before he curls it from outside the box! The ball lacks the swirl to change the scoreline. The referee calls for water break soon after
70' FC Goa take off Rowllin Borges and Udanta Singh and replace them with Ayush and Boris Singh. Williams and Shankar come in for BFC in place of Jovanovic and Halicharan Narzary!
66' Arshdeep commits an error at the back right after FC Goa won the ball deep in their half! Jay Gupta gave it back to Arshdeep to clear with BFC still pressing high but clears it poorly to Halicharan on the right flank! 63' A well-coordinated move from the centre by Bengaluru leads to Javi finding himself in front of the Goa backline! He tries to get into the box before a tackle from behind takes him down. The referee, however, felt Javi went down easy and gives no foul. There was a contact but Javi was looking for one!
62' A lean spell in the match for the first time since the early minutes of kick-off as suddenly the game is bogged down in the middle. Changes could be on the cards soon!

Players are coming back on the field for the second half while the West Block Blues look as inspiring as always do!

A moment of appreciation for Jay Gupta, who has been extraordinary on the left back position this season. For somebody not afraid to make overlapping run and take shot on target with conviction, one may mistake him for a winger! Team India head coach Igor Stimac surely be taking note as first-choice left-back Akash Mishra may have some serious competition in the coming years!

Half Time stats

FC Goa are playing their second ISL 2023-24 away game on the go as they are facing Bengaluru FC at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday (October 25). FC Goa defeated East Bengal 2-1 in their previous game in Bhubaneswar last week.
Spanish midfielder Victor Rodriguez starred in that game for FC Goa as he first assisted Sandesh Jhingan in the 74th minute and scored the winner less than a minute later. It was a comeback win that left East Bengal stunned after taking the lead through Noarem Mahesh Singh.
Bengaluru FC also defeated East Bengal in their last game by a 2-1 margin with Sunil Chhetri and Javi Hernandez scoring in the win after Mahesh gave the Kolkata outfit the lead at the Kanteerava. It was Bengaluru's first win of the season and came three weeks ago after losing to Mohun Bagan (0-1) and Kerala Blasters (1-2) in the first two matchweeks.
