Benjamin Cremaschi Signs Permanent Move To Parma From Inter Miami

Inter Miami academy graduate Benjamin Cremaschi completes a permanent transfer to Parma, signing a five-year contract with the Serie A club. The move makes the 21-year-old the first Inter Miami academy product to join one of Europe’s top five leagues in MLS history.

The agreement follows Cremaschi’s season-long loan with Parma during the 2025-26 campaign. The Italian side activated an option to buy after that spell. Cremaschi had moved on loan in August 2025 after expressing frustration with limited playing time under Javier Mascherano, and made nine appearances in all competitions without scoring.

Cremaschi seals permanent Parma move

Cremaschi had signed a first-team contract with Inter Miami in 2023 and quickly played a role in major club successes. The midfielder helped Inter Miami lift the 2023 Leagues Cup and secure the 2024 Supporters’ Shield. Across all competitions, Cremaschi recorded eight goals and nine assists in 107 senior appearances for the club.

Inter Miami highlighted the transfer as a milestone for the club’s development structure. Sporting director Alberto Marrero said, "Seeing a player who grew up in our academy, debuted with the first team, and is now making the leap to European football is a source of immense pride for everyone at Inter Miami," reflecting the internal satisfaction with the pathway.

Marrero added that Cremaschi’s rise reflects the structure Inter Miami wants to reinforce. "There is no greater satisfaction for a club, and this is the model we want to solidify. Benja demonstrates that talent, coupled with a solid development process and real opportunities with the first team, can lead our players to compete in the best leagues in the world."

The move gives Parma a young United States international who already has experience in MLS trophies and European adaptation. For Inter Miami, the transfer confirms that the academy can lead players from youth levels to the first team and then on to leading European competitions, reinforcing the club’s long-term development aims.
