Odisha FC (OFC) began their 133rd Durand Cup campaign with a dominant 5-0 victory over the Border Security Force Football Team (BSF FT) in a Group E match at the SAI Stadium on Saturday.
Givson Singh Moirangthem scored twice, while second-half goals from Rahul Mukhi, Ashangbam Aphaoba Singh, and Roshan Panna secured a comfortable win for Odisha, placing them at the top of the group standings ahead of North East United FC on goal difference.
Bodoland FC's Head Coach Khlain Prykhat Syiemjieh fielded a strong lineup in their first Durand Cup match against NorthEast United FC, featuring Ghanaians Benjamin Techie and Joe Aidoo, Cameroonian striker Zacharie Mbenda, and another Ghanaian, Frank Nana Kofi, in defense.
