Bengaluru, August 18: Birthday wishes poured in for Bengaluru FC left-back Subhashish Bose, who turned 22 on Friday (August 18).
The former Mohun Bagan defender had joined Blues at the start of the season.
The Federation Cup champions and AFC Cup runners-up wished their new recruit on his birthday through their Facebook page.
Bose had a breakthrough season at Churchill Brothers, before becoming a defensive mainstay for Sporting Goa in 2016 which prompted Mohun Bagan to sign the talented youngster.
His impressive performances with the Kolkata-side even caught the eye of national coach Stephen Constantine who called him up to the camp, while also being part of the Indian Under-23 team for the AFC Championship Qualifiers 2017.
Bose's first assignment will be the AFC Cup first leg inter-zonal semifinal against North Korean club April 25 SC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on August 23.
With key defender John Johnson set to miss the AFC Cup campaign due to personal reasons, Bose will have to play a major role in the crucial game.
