Bournemouth Overpower Crystal Palace 3-0 To Keep European Dream Alive
Bournemouth extended a historic unbeaten run with a 3-0 home win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League, moving into serious European contention. The Cherries controlled most phases at Vitality Stadium, struck early through a deflected effort, added a penalty before half-time, and finished the contest with a precise third goal on 77 minutes.
The result stretched Bournemouth’s undefeated league sequence to 15 matches, the longest active run in the Premier League and the club’s best in the top division. Crystal Palace, in contrast, created little for long spells, struggled to contain Bournemouth’s young attackers, and only threatened a consolation when Ismaila Sarr struck the post late on.

This victory underlined the scale of Bournemouth’s current form in the Premier League. The 15-match unbeaten streak is the longest of any side in the competition at present, and also the best sequence Bournemouth have put together in the top flight. Andoni Iraola’s team backed that with strong underlying numbers across the match.
Expected goals data showed Bournemouth’s superiority over Crystal Palace in both penalty area quality and chance volume. The hosts produced 2.29 expected goals, while Crystal Palace finished on 0.78. Palace did not register a single shot in the first half, something that had not happened to them in the Premier League since August 2021 against Chelsea.
{TABLE_1}Teenagers Junior Kroupi and Rayan again carried much of Bournemouth’s attacking threat and played central roles. Bournemouth became the first Premier League side ever to have two teenagers score in back-to-back league matches. Kroupi’s return has been especially strong, with 12 goals in this debut Premier League season, the most by any teenager in a first campaign.
The opening goal came after 10 minutes, when Evanilson’s glancing header deflected off former Bournemouth defender Jefferson Lerma and looped beyond Dean Henderson. Despite a reaction save attempt, Henderson could not prevent the ball crossing the line. That early strike settled Bournemouth and left Crystal Palace chasing the game against an organised defensive shape.
Bournemouth doubled the advantage on 32 minutes after a Crystal Palace mistake in the penalty area. Dean Henderson tried to reclaim a loose ball but brought down Marcos Senesi, and Junior Kroupi converted calmly from the spot. Palace improved slightly after the break, with Jorgen Strand Larsen shooting wide and Ismaila Sarr testing the defence without finding a finish.
The third Bournemouth goal arrived on 77 minutes and removed any remaining doubt. Rayan collected the ball in space and struck cleanly past Henderson to complete the 3-0 scoreline. In stoppage-time, Ismaila Sarr almost claimed a consolation when Adam Wharton’s floated cross reached the far post, but Sarr’s first-time effort clipped the upright.
The win kept Bournemouth firmly in the race for European qualification from the Premier League and highlighted growing depth in Andoni Iraola’s squad, especially among younger players. Crystal Palace left Vitality Stadium without a goal or point, having struggled to create clear chances, while Bournemouth’s run and confidence both continued to rise.
