Bournemouth's Evanilson Has Red Card Overturned Before Arsenal Match

Bournemouth successfully appealed Evanilson's red card, enabling him to participate in the upcoming match against Arsenal. The Brazilian's ban was lifted following a review of his dismissal during the game against Manchester United.

Bournemouth's Evanilson is set to play against Arsenal in the Premier League after his red card was overturned. Initially, referee Peter Bankes issued a yellow card for Evanilson's tackle on Noussair Mazraoui. However, after reviewing the incident on the monitor, Bankes upgraded it to a red card, reducing Bournemouth to 10 players for the last 20 minutes against Manchester United.

Rasmus Hojlund scored a late equaliser for Manchester United at the Vitality Stadium, affecting Bournemouth's aspirations for European qualification next season. The Football Association announced that an independent regulatory commission has lifted Evanilson's three-match suspension following a successful appeal of wrongful dismissal.

Evanilson's Red Card Rescinded for Arsenal Game

The Cherries currently sit 10th in the Premier League standings with four matches left. They trail Fulham by one point in the race for European competition. A top-eight finish could secure them a Europa Conference League spot if Crystal Palace fails to win the FA Cup against Manchester City.

Having Evanilson back provides Bournemouth with renewed optimism as they aim to finish their season strongly. The 25-year-old forward has been instrumental, contributing five goals and one assist in his last nine league starts for the team.
