Brazil will face Peru in Brasilia for CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying, following a late win over Chile that has eased the pressure on manager Dorival Junior. The victory kept Brazil in the automatic qualifying spots.
Whereas, Peru moved off the bottom of the standings with their first win of the campaign. Dorival's decision to trust Botafogo's key players paid off, as Igor Jesus equalized and Luiz Henrique scored the 89th-minute winner. This victory was Brazil's 17th win in 20 matches against Chile.

However, they are still only two points inside the automatic qualifying positions, with Dorival's job on the line due to the team's inconsistent form. Peru, who had yet to win in the qualifiers before this month, pulled off a surprising victory over Uruguay, marking their first competitive win in two years.
This result lifted them off the bottom of the standings, although they remain five points behind the playoff spots. Peru's struggles in recent campaigns, including limited offensive success and poor away performances, continue to challenge their World Cup aspirations.
They have scored only three goals in this campaign, and most of their points have come from home matches. Peru will need significant improvement to reach their second World Cup in over 10 editions.
Brazil Predicted XI: Ederson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Abner; Bruno Guimaraes, Andre; Raphinha, Luiz Henrique, Igor Jesus; Rodrygo
Peru Predicted XI: Gallesse; Polo, Araujo, Zambrano, Abram, Callens; Sonne, Castillo, Pena; Valera, Flores
