Brentford Triumphs Over Leicester City 4-1 As Kevin Schade Scores Hat-Trick At Home

Kevin Schade's impressive hat-trick propelled Brentford to a commanding 4-1 victory against Leicester City, keeping them unbeaten at home. This win places Brentford seventh in the Premier League standings.

Kevin Schade's impressive hat-trick helped Brentford secure a 4-1 victory over Leicester City at the Gtech Community Stadium. This win ensured Brentford's unbeaten home record remained intact. Ruud van Nistelrooy was announced as Leicester's new manager on Friday, but it was first-team coach Ben Dawson who led the team during this match. Thomas Frank's side delivered a strong performance, leaving Leicester struggling.

Facundo Buonanotte gave Leicester an early lead after 21 minutes, sparking hope among their fans. However, Yoane Wissa quickly equalised just four minutes later. Schade then put Brentford ahead soon after and added another goal before half-time from a tight angle. He completed his hat-trick just before the hour mark by finishing Nathan Collins' curling pass, securing control for the Bees.

Brentford Beats Leicester City with Schade's Hat-Trick

This victory moved Brentford up to seventh place in the league standings, only two points away from the Champions League spots. Meanwhile, Leicester remained in 16th position. The win marked Brentford's sixth victory in seven home games this season, with the team scoring 22 goals at home so far.

Before this match, Schade had not scored in the Premier League since April 2024 against Luton Town. In his first 41 appearances in the league, he managed only two goals. With his hat-trick against Leicester, he became just the fourth German player to achieve such a feat in the Premier League, joining Jurgen Klinsmann (1998), Fredi Bobic (2002), and Andre Schurrle (2014).

Schade is also only the second player to score a hat-trick for Brentford in this competition, following Ivan Toney who achieved it twice. His performance contributed significantly to Brentford's impressive goal-scoring form this season.

Record-Breaking Goal Scoring Form

The Bees have become the first team to score more than 20 goals at home in this Premier League season. After seven home matches, they reached this milestone earlier than any other season since 1982-83 when they also achieved it after seven games. In top-flight history, it's their earliest since 1936-37.

This remarkable goal-scoring run highlights Brentford's attacking prowess and solidifies their position as one of the most formidable teams at home this season.
