Brighton Excited To Announce Ferdi Kadioglu's Arrival From Fenerbahce
Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler is thrilled to welcome Ferdi Kadioglu to his team. Kadioglu's move from Fenerbahce was confirmed on Tuesday, and he has signed a four-year contract for a reported £25 million plus £4.2 million in add-ons.
Before their 4-0 victory over Crawley Town in the EFL Cup, Kadioglu was officially introduced as a Seagulls player at the AMEX Stadium. The 24-year-old provides Hurzeler with another option at left-back following Valentin Barco's loan move to Sevilla last week.

Kadioglu leaves the Turkish Super Lig side after six years, during which he made 204 appearances across all competitions. He scored 18 goals and provided 22 assists during his time there. This season, he has already played five matches for Jose Mourinho's side, scoring once in their Champions League qualifying game against FC Lugano.
"I'm very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character," Hurzeler said upon Kadioglu's arrival at the AMEX Stadium. "He has great ability, is a strong runner, and very good at passing."
Hurzeler's team is one of four sides that have won both of their fixtures in the 2024-25 season. They will travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal on Saturday, hoping to continue their excellent start under their new manager.
Kadioglu becomes Brighton's ninth signing during this transfer window and aims to make an immediate impact in the Premier League this weekend.

The Turkish international featured in all of Turkey's fixtures during their quarter-final run at Euro 2024. His versatility and experience will be valuable assets for Brighton as they aim for success this season.
Hurzeler expressed his satisfaction with the new addition: "He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing." The coach believes Kadioglu will fit well into the team's dynamics and contribute significantly.
Kadioglu’s unveiling added excitement among fans at the AMEX Stadium ahead of their EFL Cup match. His presence is expected to bolster Brighton’s defensive options following Barco’s departure.
The Seagulls are optimistic about maintaining their winning streak as they prepare for their upcoming match against Arsenal. With Kadioglu now part of the squad, Brighton looks forward to leveraging his skills and experience in their Premier League campaign.
