London, March 21: British national David Haigh, the former managing director of Leeds United Football Club, was acquitted on Monday in Dubai over charges related to a tweet.
Haigh had previously pleaded not guilty to cyber slander after he was accused of sending an offensive tweet about a business partner, BBC reported.
