Arsenal have suffered a blow as Bukayo Saka left out of the pitch in their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday (December 21).
As the Gunners returned to league action at Selhurst Park, they have been dealt with a massive problem as their ace player had to come off in the first half of the match.

In the 23rd minute of the match, Bukayo Saka was sent through on the right wing. As the Gunners star attempted to send a cross in from the right-hand side, he suffered an injury. The play continued but Saka was left to the ground. As the medical personnel arrived, the England international was in distress and confirmed that he couldn't continue. Mikel Arteta had to force into a substitution as Leandro Trossard replaced the injured Arsenal player.
It seems Bukayo Saka has injured his Hamstring while crossing the ball. He grabbed his hamstring immediately after the cross, which suggests the Arsenal star may have damaged his hamstring.
The current extent of Bukayo Saka's injury is not yet known. A mild to moderate tear of the hamstring can keep a player out of three to seven weeks, while an even bigger injury will mean a longer time on the sidelines. At the earliest, Saka looks set to return only in the final week of January.
The fact that Saka could walk after the injury is a big relief for the supporters of the North London club. With a busy schedule for the Gunners coming up in the upcoming weeks, the absence of Bukayo Saka is a major blow for them. Arsenal are currently leading 3-1 at Selhurst Park with a brace from Gabriel Jesus and the other from Kai Havertz.
