James Trafford holds on to an Aymeric Laporte header to keep it 3-0. The Spaniard headed with pace there but it was straight to the Clarets custodian.
And it is a Red Card for Anass Zaroury. A reckless challenge from the Brunrley player and has deservedly got the marching orders. It has been a difficult night for the newly-promoted side.
A lunging tackle by Burnley's Anass Zaroury on Kyle Walker, and has that has earned him a Yellow Card. An attack from behind and VAR has advised referee to have a look at it.
Six minutes added at the end of 2nd half. Burnley's new-signing Nathan Redmond will be playing the final few minutes of the game.

25 minutes to go in the first match of the season. Burnley are pushing to get a goal back. But Rodri comes forward with the ball and takes a shot, which comes off Vitinho. Erling Haaland was through and Rodri probably should have found the Norwegian.
Josh Cullen's pass to Jacob Brunn Larsen was a good one and the Burnley new boy manages to win a corner from that. But the home side fail to conjure anything up from the set-piece.
Phil Foden makes a delightful touch and finds Erling Haaland. Haaland makes a strong run and sets Julian Alvarez, whose shot goes horribly wide.

A solid start to the 2nd half for Manchester City. They are dominating possession and dictating the game. Foster tries to find Vitinho but Kyle Walker gets in between the ball and the attacker and rolls the ball back to Ederson.
We have started at Turf Moor for the 2nd half. A big task ahead for the home side, while the visitors would be aiming to pile on more goals.
