Juan Cabal, the left-back for Juventus, expressed gratitude towards coach Thiago Motta after making a successful return from injury. His performance was crucial in their 1-0 victory over Lazio. Cabal, who transferred from Verona for 11 million in July, had been sidelined due to a persistent hamstring issue, missing six weeks of play.
Returning to action against Lazio on Saturday, Cabal's cross led to an own goal by Mario Gila. This helped Juventus avoid what would have been their fifth draw in six matches. The Colombian international shared that Lazio had previously shown interest in him, but his focus was always on joining Juventus.

"Lazio looked for me before, but I was only thinking about Juve. I wanted to play for Juve since I was a kid and now I am here," Cabal told reporters. "We all know Juve's history. We have to give our lives for Juve."
Cabal acknowledged the challenge of being out of play for an extended period but emphasized the importance of readiness. "It is difficult not to play for so long. But we must always be ready," he said. He highlighted his dedication by stating he works hard every week to earn even a minute on the field.
The recent win brought Juventus level with Napoli at 16 points from eight matches in Serie A, although Napoli has a game in hand. Despite this strong position, Cabal remains cautious about predicting championship success: "The important thing is to try to win every game. We want to be champions, but I can't tell you now that we will win the championship."
Coach Thiago Motta's trust in Cabal was evident as he chose the right moment to bring him back onto the pitch. "The coach saw something different and put me out, but he has faith in me," Cabal remarked about his return.
