Arsenal to continue Wembley run or dismal away results?

As it stands, a win for Arsenal (currently on 45 points) would take them closer, only two points off Chelsea (currently on 50 points), who play West Brom later.

Bengaluru, February 8: The North London derby between Tottenhum Hotspur and Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday (February 19) apart from having local pride at stake, is more of a battle to get into the top four of the premier league.

Tottenham v Arsenal - in words and numbers

As it stands, a win for Arsenal (currently on 45 points) would take them closer, only two points off Chelsea (currently on 50 points), who play West Brom on Monday (February 12). A win for Tottenham (currently on 49 points) however, would see them get to fourth place.

Tottenham's temporary home, The Wembley Stadium was called a bad omen for Spurs at the start of the season where they failed to get a win in the first month of the season.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have a very good record at the venue winning three out of the last five FA cups. The two teams meet each other at the venue nearly after 25 years and Arsenal will look to complete the double over their neighbours for the season.

Last season's home game for Tottenham saw a 2-0 victory for the Spurs with Harry Kane and Delle Alli getting on the score sheet. Both teams will look for the win in a game that, in the past, has never seemed to disappoint from a neutral's point of view. Goals for sure!

Arsenal have failed to register a win in their last three away games having drawn at Chelsea in the Carabao cup semifinal which was followed by Premier League defeats to Bournemouth and Swansea.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have won four games on the spin at home. One of them, being against Manchester United, where the Spurs showed clear domination. Their last defeat at home is dated back to October when they lost to London rivals West Ham United in the Carabao cup.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said he has a selection dilemma to pick a team for the match.

Providing an update on attacking midfielder Lucas Moura, Pochettino told reporters, "I think he'll be ready, maybe to be in contention for the game. He's doing well, training so hard. I hope that he's still doing well and we can put him in contention."

At the Arsenal camp, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Danny Welbeck and Nacho Monreal will be back.

However, a doubt looms over Petr Cech. The goalkeeper hobbled off in the second half of the Gunners' 5-1 demolition of Everton with Colombian David Ospina replacing him.

If Cech is not fit, Wenger will choose Ospina for the big occasion.
