Can Cristiano Ronaldo persuade Bruno Fernandes to join Al Nassr?

Al-Hilal seem to be relentless in their pursuit of Bruno Fernandes. They are willing to spend a lot of money to bring the Portuguese forward. So far, Fernandes has reportedly rejected any and all lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia.

However, if he shows interest in a move to the Saudi Pro League, other clubs can also join the race to sign him. In that case, his Portugal and former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo could also persuade him to move to Al Nassr.

Portugal and Manchester United forward Bruno Fernandes has offers from Al Hilal

The biggest Saudi Pro League clubs have been employing major European players since the summer transfer window of 2023. Al Hilal kept trying to bring in Bruno Fernandes even into this winter transfer window, offering €100 million.

As per transfer expert and journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Fernandes refused more than two offers from Saudi clubs. He cleared all doubts saying, “I’m happy where I am, I’m focused on Man United. I don’t look at rumours and also I don’t pay attention to them.”

Bruno Fernandes was named Man United captain at the start of this season. So far into the season, as an outfield player, he has the most appearances. He has also scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists this season in 31 games in all competitions.

Fernandes’ refusals didn't stop Al-Hilal in their endeavours. They are still trying to persuade the Portuguese forward. However, if Fernandes decides to make a move to the Middle Eastern nation, other big clubs, like Al Nassr, Al-Ahli, and more will also join in the race.

If Al Nassr showed interest in Fernandes, his Portugal and former Red Devils teammate Cristiano Ronaldo could become a big factor. He could persuade Fernandes to make the move to Al Nassr who are currently 2nd in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo's team are 7 points behind the league leaders Al Hilal. Fernandes’ inclusion beside Ronaldo could help the team. The two of them have played a total of 100 games together for Manchester United and Portugal.
