England manager Gareth Southgate has given the clearest indication yet about his future with the national team, just days before their Euro 2024 opener against Serbia.
The 53-year-old English coach has been at the helm since November 2016, following a brief interim spell, and has become the most successful England manager since Sir Alf Ramsey.

“I’ve been here almost eight years now and we’ve come close. You can’t constantly put yourself in front of the public and say, 'A little more please’, as at some point people lose faith."
Recently, Southgate has been linked with the managerial position at Manchester United, with current manager Erik Ten Hag's future reportedly uncertain. However, any decisions regarding this potential career move are expected to be made after Euro 2024.
England's Euro 2024 journey will begin on June 16th in Gelsenkirchen against Serbia. The Three Lions will also face Denmark and Slovenia in the group stage, with high hopes of advancing far in the tournament.
