Manchester, Sept 26: Newcastle United hope to repeat last season's 3-0 victory over Manchester United when they visit Old Trafford for the Capital One Cup clash on Wednesday.

Alan Pardew's men beat the Red Devils 3-0 at home in the Premier League last season.

Both sides have a chance to give an opportunity to fringe players as United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to hand left-back Alex Buttner and Nick Powell a start after scoring against Wigan.
