East Bengal have parted away with head coach Carles Cuadrat with mutual consent on Monday (September 30).
The Spaniard was under immense pressure following team's defeat in the first three ISL matches, and now has decided to leave his role. Bino George, the head coach of the youth team will take the charges on an interim basis.

A source close to the club told MyKhel that Cuadrat's demise was inevitable after five consecutive defeats across all competitions.
The club also announced their statement saying Cuadrat's departure from the club.
"Emami East Bengal FC announces the departure of Carles Cuadrat as its Head Coach. Bino George will serve as the interim Head Coach. Emami East Bengal FC will make further announcements in due course," a statement from the club read.
The Spaniard was instrumental in East Bengal's revival last season where they had a magnitude of positive results. The Red and Gold Brigade won the Kalinga Super Cup as well earlier this year, thus paving a way back to the Asian Competitions this season.
But a number of poor results this season has led to the demise of Cuadrat from the Kolkata club, who are yet to get a point in the ISL this season. The fans also grew frustrated and chanted 'Go Back Cuadrat' after their defeat against the Gaurs, and the inevitable has now officially materialized.
