Kaka backs Carlo Ancelotti to guide Brazil through a deep World Cup run, describing the team as a strong contender for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico, where the Selecao chase a record sixth global crown.
The former Brazil playmaker highlights Ancelotti’s experience and calm style, arguing that this could help end a 24-year wait since the 2002 triumph, as the Opta supercomputer rates Brazil’s title chances at 5.6% following December’s tournament draw.

Ancelotti assumed control of Brazil in May after leaving Real Madrid, completing the final stages of their qualifying campaign and now preparing for a first World Cup on the Selecao bench, with pressure shaped by the country’s long history of tournament success.
Kaka told La Gazzetta dello Sport, "Ancelotti is the right person at this moment for Brazil, which, given its history, is always considered amongst the favourites. Maybe not in the top three, but it's a good team, and Carlo is Carlo."
Reflecting on personal tournament memories, Kaka added, "I'm confident, I've been lucky enough to play at three World Cups, and I know how exciting it can be. Having a good tournament after so many disappointments would be great for the country."
Brazil line up in Group C with Morocco, Haiti and Scotland, starting against Morocco on 13 June, then facing Haiti six days later before completing the group versus Scotland, having advanced beyond the quarter-finals only once since finishing champions in 2002, when placing fourth in 2014.
