Celtic delivered an impressive 5-0 victory over Ross County in the Scottish Premiership, with Brendan Rodgers applauding their performance. The team scored all five goals in the first half, showcasing a dominant display. Luke McCowan played a pivotal role, assisting Liam Scales' opening goal and scoring the second himself. This win extends Celtic's unbeaten domestic run to 28 games since March.
Paulo Bernardo added to the tally with a close-range finish, while McCowan assisted Callum McGregor for a stunning long-range goal. Adam Idah completed the scoring with a powerful shot. Celtic have consistently scored at least two goals in their last 22 league matches, amassing 67 goals in total during this period.

Rodgers expressed his satisfaction, stating, "It was a complete performance. I said we didn't want to wait on the game, and I thought we were outstanding on that front." He acknowledged Ross County's efforts in the second half but praised his team's overall display following a challenging Champions League match earlier in the week.
Rodgers highlighted McCowan's contribution, noting his patience and hard work. "He's really settled in well," Rodgers said. "He gets his reward for how hard he works." McCowan created eight chances during the match, more than double any other player on the field.
The team demonstrated their attacking prowess by hitting the woodwork three times and taking 25 shots with an expected goals (xG) value of 2.86. Despite McCowan only attempting two shots himself, his creativity was crucial to Celtic's success.
Rodgers emphasised the importance of competition within the squad: "All the guys who came in [after the Champions League meeting with Club Brugge] can be called starters. We need that competition and energy because we put so much into the games."
As Celtic continue their impressive form, they remain five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table. Their ability to maintain high standards across competitions is evident as they build on their strong domestic record this season.
