He scored the all important fourth goal for East Bengal in the 74th minute after Dip Saha put them back in the lead in the 70th minute. Bunando Singh and Aman CK deserve some credit as well for using their pace to worry WBPS defense line.

The Red and Gold Brigade has made a stuttering start to their CFL campaign as they were haplessly held by the Rainbow AC in their last match. With both Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Mohammedan Sporting registering huge wins in their respective matches, the onus will be on East Bengal players to get back to winning ways.
