Nyon (Switzerland), March 17: UEFA Champions League 2017 quarter-finals draw took place today, March 17, in Nyon, Switzerland.

Eight of the best teams in Europe who have qualified to the last eight stage were placed in the draw and the ambassador of the Champions League 2017 and former Liverpool star Ian Rush conducted the draw.
Three Spanish sides made it to the last eight phase out of four as unfortunately Sevilla were knocked out from the Round of 16 by Leicester City.
FC Barcelona registered one of the most sensational victories in the history of the game as they overturned a 0-4 deficit against PSG to win the second leg 6-1 and qualify for the quarters. Their last 3 goals came in the final 9 minutes of the match.
Leicester created history as they reached the quarter-finals of Champions League for the very first time. They are the lone-flagbearers of England in this competition.
Other than them, Germany have two representatives Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and Italy have one in Juventus. Monaco will represent France.
