UCL Draw 2024: It was down to 8 teams in the ongoing UEFA Champions League 2023-24 season after the completion of the two-legged round of 16 ties that saw 8 teams go out of Europe's top club competition.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, PSG, Arsenal, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are the teams that booked their berths in this season's UCL quarter-finals. RB Leipzig, Lazio, FC Copehagen, Real Sociedad, Porto, Napoli, PSV Eindhoven and Inter were the teams to exit the competition in the round of 16.

Record 14-time champions Real Madrid edged past RB Leipzig 2-1 on aggregate over two rounds in their round of 16 clash, while defending champions Manchester City thumped FC Copenhagen 6-2 over the two legs.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain eased past Real Sociedad 4-1, winning both the legs, while Six-time champions Bayern Munich overturned a first leg deficit to beat Italian side Lazio 3-1 on aggregate.
Arsenal also overturned a first leg deficit, but needed penalty shoot out to see off Porto 5-3 after the two-legged tie ended 1-1. Barcelona eased past Napoli 4-2 after the first leg at left the tie evenly poised.
Borussia Dortmund beat PSV 3-1 after 1-1 draw in the first leg and 2-0 win in the second, while Inter, who carried a 1-0 lead to Madrid lost the second leg to Atletico on penalty shootout after the second leg ended 2-1 in the Spanish side's favour on Wednesday (March 13).
Now, these eight teams will head to the draw not only for the quarter-final, but also for the semi-final and the final. The quarter-final and semi-final draws are both 'open' unlike the last-16 draw which had a few restrictions.
So, anyone can face any team in both stages irrespective of their country of origin or previous fixtures this season. Each quarter-final tie will be given a number between one and four, with those four balls being used to draw out the semi-final draw that succeeds the last-eight pairings.

The Champions League draw to determine who will play in the last four and the last eight UCL 2024 matches will take place at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday (March 15).
The Champions League draw is scheduled to start at 12 PM CET (Local Time), which is 11 AM GMT. In India, due to time difference, the draw will start at 4:30 PM IST on Friday (March 15).
