PSG vs Bayern Munich Dream11: Paris Saint Germain or PSG will be hosting Bayern Munich in a big Champions League clash in Paris. It will be a rematch of the 2021 Champions league final as the two cash-rich clubs face off in the round-of-16 clash with the first leg being played at Parc des Princes.
PSG have a star-studded attacking players in Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Neymar while the midfield has genuine quality in Marco Verratti, Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz. The defence is led by Sergio Ramos, with Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi in support while Gianluigi Doannarumma guards the goal.
PSG injury update vs Bayern Munich
The team may play the first leg without Messi and Mbappe as the duo are uncertain for the game while Verratti has a hip problem as well. Renato Sanches and Nordi Mukiele are ruled out of the game already.
On top of that, the stunning squad has failed to live up to its name in the last couple of games with recent form is a cause of concern as they made French Cup exit (to Marseille) and lost 3-1 to Monaco on the road in an unconvincing display.
The Christophe Galtier-managed side will be hoping the home crowd to provide them that added impetus as they face an unstoppable force in Bayern Munich, who heads to Paris after scoring 11 goals in three games. There are chinks in their armour though as they conceded two goals in those games and drew three consecutive games before that.
Likes of Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller have found goa-scoring form off late. Likes of Choupo Moting, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane may start in the game ahead of Muller and Gnabry.
Bayern Munich injury update vs PSG
The game will also be first big test for right-back Joao Cancelo since moving to the Bavarian club in a defence guarded by centre-backs Matthijs de Ligt. Dayot Upamecano also returns from injury to bolster the defence while the club continues to be without their favourite goalkeeper Manuel Neur, who broke his leg and is out for the season.
Yann Sommer will be guarding the goal in his absence while Cancelo's role remain crucial with attack-minded Alphonso Davies as the left-back.
There are other injury absences too with the list notably incudes Sadio Mane, Noussair Mazroui, Ryan Gravenberch and Lucas Hernandez.

Captain and vice captain choices: Kingsley Coman has been in good form off late and goals by him could fetch more points. The same applies for Neymar, who has scored 19 goals and assisted 13 more this season. Messi didn't score in the last game but has scored twice this month already.

PSG are playing at home but Bayern Munich's recent form and performance at the group stages suggest they are favourites to win the game. PSG are coming to the game lacking momentum with two losses while Bayern Munich have scored 11 goals in three games.
