Chelsea once again dominated the headlines during the 2024 summer transfer window, continuing their trend of high-profile signings and strategic player movements.
Under the ownership of Todd Boehly and with new manager Enzo Maresca at the helm, the Blues committed over £200 million to bolster their squad, with a mix of experienced players and promising young talent joining the ranks.

Chelsea's aggressive approach in the transfer market saw the addition of several marquee names, including Pedro Neto from Wolves for £51 million and Joao Felix, who rejoined the club permanently from Atletico Madrid for £44.5 million.
The Blues also secured the services of Jadon Sancho on a loan deal from Manchester United, with an obligation to buy next summer. In a bid to bring more Premier League experience into the squad, Tosin Adarabioyo arrived on a free transfer from Fulham.
Meanwhile, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall reunited with his former Leicester City boss, Maresca, for a fee that could rise to £35 million. Chelsea's ambition didn't stop there. The club also focused on acquiring top young talent from around the globe.
Notable signings include Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa for £19 million, Renato Veiga from FC Basel for £12 million, and Estevao Willian from Palmeiras for an undisclosed fee. To accommodate the influx of new signings and maintain financial balance, Chelsea also facilitated several significant departures.
The sales of Lewis Hall to Newcastle United for £28 million, Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa for £37.5 million, and Conor Gallagher to Atletico Madrid for £34 million were among the most prominent deals. In total, Chelsea raised around £150 million from player sales.
Veteran players also moved on, with Thiago Silva returning to Fluminense on a free transfer. Additionally, first-team stars Raheem Sterling and Trevoh Chalobah secured loan moves to Arsenal and Crystal Palace, respectively.
