Former Liverpool and Manchester City player David James reckons Chelsea boss Frank Lampard can't provide any success to the club as the caretaker manager.
Lampard was appointed by Chelsea as manager till the end of this season after they sacked Graham Potter a few days ago. Chelsea are struggling in the Premier League and Lampard also started his second tenure at the London club with a loss against Wolves.

In the 2011-12 season, Chelsea had brought in Roberto di Matteo as their coach midway in the season and the Italian took them to their first Champions League title. Although the Blues were poor in the league that season, the Champions League glory was huge as they became the first London-based club to win the continental competition.
The Blues are in the Champions League this season as well and will be up against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the competition. And ahead of that, Mykhel had a chat with the former England international.
On being asked if Lampard can emulate what Roberto Di Matteo did in 2012, James was adamant that the Chelsea legend won't be able to do that.
"He is not gonna get them Champions League places. I don't think he will be able to replicate what Roberto Di Matteo did as they have a different opposition this time. Real Madrid are a difficult team and there is a scariness about this Real side," James said to Mykhel.
"When you look at the Chelsea squad, you see there is a familiarity there when you compare to Frank Lampard's last Chelsea squad. Forget the result against Wolves, when it comes to UCL, he will have more time to prepare," he added.
"If Chelsea can beat them, then Chelsea will have a great chance to go all the way in the Champions League," James further said.
Chelsea will be taking on the Spanish giants on Wednesday (April 12). The Blues will be playing the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu while they play the second leg at home a week later.
The Real Madrid vs Chelsea match in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final will be broadcast Live on Sony Sports Ten 2 from 12.30 am IST on April 13 (early hours of Thursday). Indian viewers can also Live Stream the match through the JioCinema and Sony Liv app and website.
