These statistics mark his best performance since leaving Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in 2021. The 25-year-old participated in 41 matches, starting 26 of them.

Sancho created 55 chances this season, resulting in an expected assists tally of 5.8. His contributions were crucial as Chelsea secured a spot in next season's Champions League. Maresca praised Sancho’s influence on both domestic and European fronts. "I said yesterday in the press conference. From now on we are going to sit with the club and decide what happens for next year," said Maresca. "If we finish fourth it is also because of Jadon, if we win tonight it is also because of Jadon."

Sancho’s contract with Manchester United extends until the end of next season. Although Chelsea have an obligation to purchase him permanently, reports suggest they might pay a fee to bypass this clause. Maresca acknowledged that fluctuations in form are typical during a season.
