Chelsea secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Legia Warszawa in the first leg of their Conference League quarter-final. Tyrique George scored his debut senior goal, and Noni Madueke added two more. Chelsea's performance improved significantly after halftime. In the first half, they had 10 shots with two on target and an expected goals (xG) of 0.62. After the break, they took 14 shots with eight on target and an xG of 3.45. Overall, Chelsea had 24 shots with an xG of 4.08.
Legia struggled offensively throughout the match. They managed only one shot on target from eight attempts and ended with an xG of 0.44. This was their lowest number of attempts in this season's Conference League.
