Chelsea, Aug 21: Chelsea misfit Diego Costa's transfer situation is taking the twist and turn every day as now reports have emerged that the Spanish international could opt to join Premier League rivals Everton on a six months loan deal.
The Chelsea striker's future is right now in exile after he was told by manager Antonio Conte that he has no future at Stamford Bridge.
The forward who is now Brazil, training alone has suggested after such decision that he will now only want to join his former club Atletico Madrid permanently and will not go to cash-rich MLS and China at any cost if Chelsea decide to sell him there.
And some of the reports have now suggested that the Spanish side are willing to offer Chelsea £40million to capture the player which drops the value £60m wanted by Chelsea. However, it is now believed that Chelsea are ready to continue the talks with such terms.
However, regardless of the possibility that Atletico signing the player, there is a big problem, as because of Atletico Madrid's transfer ban they can't enlist players until January.
And at this point, some of the reports have reported that Everton have come up as a shock option for the striker who are ready to take him on loan.
And keeping in mind that Everton have bolstered their squad with club record signing Gylfi Sigurdsson this week, Koeman has acknowledged he might, in any case, want to acquire another striker indicating the name of Costa.
Apart from Everton, La Liga outfits such as Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis are also believed to be eager to take the forward on loan and now it remains to be seen which club the player would be open to moving in the coming days.
