"We know that we have players who are able to do that [what Joao Pedro did]," Maresca said. "We have to get them in situations where they can do that." He expressed satisfaction with reaching the final despite challenges faced throughout the season.

Chelsea will compete against either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the final. Maresca remains unfazed by their potential opponents, acknowledging both teams' strengths. Real Madrid won last season's Champions League, while PSG claimed it this year.

However, Chelsea might face a setback with Moises Caicedo's injury late in their last match. "We will see [on the Caicedo injury]," Maresca stated. He urged Caicedo to do everything possible to be fit for Sunday's game.
