Chelsea's quest of advancing in the UEFA Champions League will take the ultimate test as they host Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 2nd leg on Tuesday.
After a 1-0 loss in the reverse fixture in Germany, the Premier League side will be hoping to bounce back and overcome the deficit to advance to the quarter-finals.
Chelsea have so far been a struggling outfit in the Premier League this season, as they sit 10th in the Premier League table. Although uncharacterized by their reputation, the Blues have found themselves wanted in front of goals and have lacked their lethal ability to score goals despite adding a lot of offensive players throughout the season. Manager Graham Potter is under pressure but got some respite as they ended their 6-match winless streak with a 1-0 win over Leeds last weekend.
Dortmund are having a stellar season and they are currently level on points with Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table. The German giants are in terrific form as they have won their last 10 games across all competitions. Dortmund's last defeat came in November, before the FIFA World Cup break, and it will definitely be a huge test for the Blues to halt their amazing run.
A solitary Karim Adeyemi goal gives Dortmund just the edge in the tie, and they would be aiming to see things out at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
